Chambrie begun writing for emotional release when she was pregnant with her first child. At the time she had recently moved from family and friends to the beautiful south west of Western Australia. Her husband was working away and Covid had taken us all hostage in our homes. The only way to understand and process the deep changes taking place in her body and psyche was through writing. Where she found solace in creating pictures with words and begun to birth a story telling type of emotive poetry.

Chambrie’s poetry is written for the eyes to read, the heart to feel and the soul to understand. Sometimes becoming stuck with the inability to find the right words for conversation, poetry gives Chambrie the voice to express her intellectual genius and creative mother maker.
